Luxury $2.2M home tops list of most expensive sold in Brampton last month

The average price of a home in Brampton dropped below $1 million for the first time since the summer to end 2024 but there were still many expensive, high-end properties trading hands in the city during December.

Real estate website Zoocasa says the average asking price for all property types decreased by 6.7 per cent to $948,170 in Brampton last month, while the average for a dropped to $1,101,428.

But the five most expensive homes sold went for far above that average, with the No.1 spot trading nearly double that number.

Here are the five most expensive homes sold in Brampton last month:

1. 66 Jacksonville Dr. – $2,201,000

This luxury home features 5+3 bedrooms including two main bedroom suites with 4,300 square feet of living space above ground and another 2,300 in the finished basement.

The home listed by Earn Max Realty Point features custom wall paneling, a chef’s kitchen with built-in appliances, a built-in sprinkler system and central vacuum system along with plenty of upgrades.

The basement is fully finished with a private separate entrance and the home also has a three-car garage with plenty of space for parking and storage.

2. 20 Janetville St. – $2,055,000

This 4,900 square foot home sits on a 70′ x 141′ lot and features stained hardwood floors, a custom staircase, and a kitchen finished with maple cabinetry.

The home listed by Cayman Marshall International Realty Inc. has a concrete patio, gazebo, and fire pit outside as well as “tech-savvy upgrades” including Tesla chargers, keyless entry, and a built-in security system.

3. 9 Balloon Cres. – $1,970,000

The home listed by Royal Lepage Flower City Realty has 12 foot-ceilings in the living room, 10 foot-ceilings on the main floor, and nine-foot ceilings on the second floor.

4. 27 Agincourt Cir. – $1,823,000

5. 20 Carl Finlay Dr. – $1,750,000
