The OLG’s Lotto Max jackpot has now gone a record-breaking length of time without being won.

The last Lotto Max jackpot was won on Aug. 12, 2022 – a $15 million jackpot won in Western Canada.

“This is now the longest number of LOTTO MAX draws (19) that the jackpot has not been won since the game’s launch in 2009,” OLG (Ontario Lottery and Gaming) said in a press release.

There are $132 million in prizes for tonight’s (Oct. 18, 2022) draw with a $70 million jackpot and an estimated 62 Maxmillions prizes.

$132 million is now the second biggest LOTTO MAX top prizing offering,” the OLG says.

The biggest LOTTO MAX top prize offering was $140 million ($70 million plus 70 Maxmillions) in the June 18 and June 22, 2021 draws.

Maxmillions kicked in on the Friday Sept. 2, 2022 Lotto Max draw when the jackpot reached $50 million.  Since then, there have been 88 Maxmillions prize-winning tickets sold – with 47 of those tickets sold in Ontario.
