One lottery player in Canada is waking up $1 million richer after winning the Gold Ball Draw in Saturday night’s Lotto 6/49 draw, while the $5 million Classic jackpot went unclaimed.
The winning numbers in the Classic Draw were:
01 – 08 – 09 – 24 – 36 – 37
Bonus: 25
Gold Ball: 92413193-01
Encore: 9816598
The Classic Draw on July 25 did not produce a jackpot winner, meaning the $5 million top prize will continue to roll over into the next draw.
While no one matched all six winning numbers, two tickets matched five numbers plus the bonus to split a prize of $176,742, with each ticket taking home $88,371.
The draw also created 143,222 winning tickets across Canada, with prizes ranging from free plays to thousands of dollars.
The Gold Ball Draw did produce a big winner, with one ticket matching the Gold Ball number (92413193-01) to claim the $1 million prize. The Gold Ball Draw had one cash winner in total.
Meanwhile, the Encore draw also created several significant winners, although the $1 million top prize for matching all seven digits (9816598) was not won.
Instead:
- 2 tickets matched the last six digits to win $100,000 each.
- 13 tickets matched the last five digits to win $1,000 each.
In total, the Encore draw produced 171,131 winning tickets.
Players can check their tickets using the OLG website or the OLG app to see if they’re among the latest winners. The next Lotto 6/49 draw will once again offer Canadians the chance to become the next millionaire.
