A dog and her owner have been happily reunited!

According to OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt, a lost dog was recently found stranded on Highway 403 at Missisauga Road.

“Thanks to a kind citizen and an officer the dog was rescued and taken to an emergency vet with a possible broken paw,” Schmidt said.

Because the dog was chipped, they were able to eventually reunite her with her owner.
