Localized flooding possible for Brampton and Mississauga due to heavy rain

Localized flooding in low-lying areas in Brampton and Mississauga is possible due to heavy rainfall Monday (October 25).

Between 10 to 20 mm of rain is expected through Monday afternoon into the early evening, with the total precipitation expected to be between 30 and 50 mm, as showers are expected to continue well into the evening.

The rain is the result of a low-pressure system expected to travel northeast across southern Ontario.

Slippery roads and reduced visibility from heavy rainfall can make travelling dangerous—residents are instructed to drive cautiously.
