Local councillor handing out free Popsicles at Milton park

Milton residents are being offered the chance to meet their local councillor and neighbours, as well as enjoy some free Popsicles this weekend.

Ward 3 Town Councillor Adil Khalqi’s annual Popsicles in the Park event is being held Saturday, July 13, at 7 p.m. at Cobban Neighbourhood Park, 840 Whitlock Ave.

“I am hosting a fun summer event in Ward 3, to connect with the community, and encourage the use of our local parks during summer,” said Khalqi.

While you’re at the park, you can enjoy some of the facilities, which include:

  • Play area
  • Spray pad
  • Shade shelter
  • Multi-use court
  • Soccer field
  • Park pathways
  • Open grass areas
