A campaign to try a new craft beer and support the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital is winding down.

Cameron’s Brewing Company announced its down to its last batch of Sixteen Mile Creek Ale.

Proceeds from sale of the West Coast style red ale go to the Oakville Hospital Foundation (OHF).

“This is the final blitz where you can show your support,” said the local brewery on its Sixteen Mile Creek Ale Twitter feed.

The local brewery launched the campaign in early October in hopes of raising more than $5,000 for the local hospital.

Clint Israel, Cameron’s Brewing president, said he hoped the current campaign was the first of many fundraising initiatives between the Oakville company and the OHF.

“We have a very limited run of cans and we’re going to sell them for as long as they’re there,” he said when the campaign launched.

“We hope we will be able to sell them very quickly and the real goal of this is a very small kick-start campaign to see if it has legs, and if it does we’re planning on partnering with the hospital for multiple different brews and directives.”

Those interested can pick up a 24-pack or a single can at Cameron’s, located at 1165 Invicta Dr.
