A local author and investigative reporter will be the next guest speaker at Burlington Public Library’s Monthly Writing Workshop.

Denise Davy’s topic will be Research 101 for Writers and she’ll provide a brief overview of research and answers questions about her methods.

Davy is a nationally-recognized, award-winning journalist who worked at the Hamilton newspaper for 26 years. Among the many industry distinctions Davy has received, she was twice honoured with the Journalist of the Year award by the Ontario Newspaper Association.

Writing workshops are interactive sessions, and participants are welcome to have their cameras and microphones turned on to ask Davy questions. Questions are welcome in advance to [email protected].

Writing workshops occur monthly and explore a different topic of interest to writers each session.

Registration closes one hour before the program begins. You can access Zoom on your computer, or on your device through the Zoom app, or by calling in.

For more information, or to register for the event, visit the library’s website.
