Loaded guns found by gang task force in Mississauga

Police say these guns were found during an arrest.

Three loaded guns were found when a Toronto Police gang task force raided a Mississauga location on the weekend.

According to reports, the Integrated Gun and Gang Task Force executed the warrant in the area of Mississauga Road and the QEW just before 11:30 a.m. on Feb. 8.

Police say they found three loaded firearms at the scene.

Tevin Dacosta, 30, of Toronto has been arrested and charged with:

  • three counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm
  • three counts of possession of a loaded firearm
  • three counts of possession of a firearm while prohibited
  • three counts of possession of a prohibited device
  • Possession of a firearm with altered serial number

The person charged has a bail hearing on Feb. 10.
