Loaded gun, drugs, and cash seized during search at Brampton residence: Police

A 22 year old Brampton man is facing firearm and drug possession charges.

On Friday, Nov. 26, police say investigators conducted two Controlled Drug and Substance Act (CDSA) search warrants at two residences.

One was in the area of Hurontario St and Wanless Dr in Brampton, while the other was in the area of Strasburg Road and Blockline Road in Kitchener.

Police say the search turned up a 9mm Glock semi-automatic handgun, ammunition, and a quantity of cash, fentanyl and crystal meth.

Ahman Ottley was arrested and charged with possession of a loaded prohibited firearm, possession for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of property obtained by crime, among other charges.

He was held for a bail hearing and attended the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Saturday, Nov. 27.
