Loaded gun and cocaine found in a traffic stop in Brampton

A Brampton man faces several charges after a gun, cocaine and cash were found in a traffic stop.
Officers stopped a vehicle near Torbram Road and North Park Drive in Brampton around 9:30 p.m. on Feb. 5, Peel Regional Police say in a press release.
Police say they found a loaded nine millimetre Glock firearm, cocaine and Canadian cash during a search of the vehicle.
Nicholas Hare, 29, from Brampton is charged with the following offences:
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Knowledge of unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Occupant of motor vehicle knowing there was a firearm
- Carrying a concealed weapon
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
- Drive vehicle with cannabis readily available
