Loaded firearm found under vehicle passenger seat in Brampton: OPP

Police say they’ve seized a firearm and laid charges following a recent traffic stop in Brampton.
OPP conducted a RIDE traffic stop in the area of Highway 410 and Queen St, stopping a driver for cannabis violations.
A loaded pistol was located under the passenger seat, according to OPP.
The 26 year old driver and 24 year old passenger are facing 18 weapon charges and cannabis violations.
