Doug Ford has cruised to a majority victory as the 2022 provincial election is turning into a rout.

And all five Halton ridings will be part of the majority as the Blue Wave swept across Oakville, Burlington, Milton and Halton Hills.

Burlington – DECIDED: The riding will stay in the hands of the Tories as PC candidate Natalie Pierre leads Liberal candidate Marian Manaa with 41.9 per cent of the vote with 53/89 polls reporting.

Milton – DECIDED: Incumbent PC candidate Parm Gill will hold onto his seat as he is leading Liberal candidate Sameera Ali, with 43.1 per cent of the vote with 36/42 polls reporting.

Oakville – DECIDED: Incumbent PC candidate Stephen Crawford has been comfortably re-elected, leading Liberal Alison Gohel with 45.5 per cent of the vote with 58/77 polls reporting.

Oakville North – Burlington – DECIDED: PC incumbent Effie Triantafilopoulos will hold off Liberal challenger Kaniz Mouli to retain her seat, currently with 47.2 per cent of the vote, with 41/43 polls reporting.

Wellington – Halton Hills – DECIDED: Longtime PC incumbent Ted Arnott has been re-elected, currently leading all other candidates combined with 50.7 per cent of the vote with 52/57 polls reporting.
