Recognizing that their community has no shortage of tech-savvy residents, Lincoln is putting the call out to the local folks to offer up input in what they’d like to see in the town’s redesigned municipal website.

The town want their new system to be “engaging, provide additional services online and, more importantly, expand our customer experience.”

Anyone who’s suffered through service websites that would puzzle NASA experts will now have their opportunity to vocalize what makes a website user-friendly, better able to serve its residents, visitors, businesses, and stakeholders.

“A municipal website is an essential online resource that must be user friendly, attractive, and accessible to all community members,” said Lincoln Mayor Sandra Easton.

“Learning from the community on what they would like to see in a redeveloped website is important to us and will help make this project a success for all. We encourage everyone to participate in the survey and have their voice heard.”

Town CAO Michael Kirkopoulos said that Lincoln believes “in an inclusive approach to Town initiatives, and it is important to collectively create a design that meets both internal and external needs.”

And for Liliana Busnello, the Town’s Manager of Corporate Communications, it’s pretty much a necessity. “We look forward to strengthening our digital communication delivery and doing it with ease for our end-users.”

To help the Town understand what is essential to residents and visitors, Lincoln is asking that people complete this: http://website redesign survey
