A limited supply of the Pfizer vaccine will be available to Mississauga and Brampton residents this Friday (July 16).

Peel Public Health reports that has just received a supply of 6,000 Pfizer doses that appointments for the shot can be booked online.

For the past month, Pfizer has largely been unavailable in Peel Region has many people who received the brand for their first dose have had to receive the Moderna vaccine for their second.

Many who have not wanted to mix brand doses have cancelled appointments as the await more of the Pfizer medication to arrive.

Appointments will fill up quickly, but openings are expected to open throughout the day. T
