‘Lengthy closure’ likely on Flamborough road after rollover: Hamilton Police

Drivers in Flamborough, northwest of Hamilton, are advised to take alternative routes after a rollover closed a major road on Monday afternoon (July 25).

A transport truck has rolled over on on Concession Road 5W, and a male driver has been seriously injured. An automated Hamilton Police (HPS) Twitter feed said at 2:47 p.m. that Concession was closed in both directions between Millgrove Side Road and Lewis Lane North.

“Please use alternative routes and anticipate a lengthy closure,” HPS said in a tweet.

Conditions in Hamilton were clear and sunny on Monday. The weather network said wind was relatively light, with a maximum gust of 14 km/h.
