Ethan Russell—the only photographer to have shot album covers for The Beatles (Let It Be), The Rolling Stones and The Who–is coming to Brampton.

Russell is a multiple Grammy-nominated photographer and director. He is also the author of three books and, most recently, a performer in his stage show The Best Seat in the House.

If all of this intrigues you, you’ll be happy to hear that on Jan. 25, you can catch Russell in The Best Seat in the House at the Rose Theatre at 8:00 p.m.

Many moons ago, Russell was a young American living in London with his camera and the dream of becoming a writer. Years later, he was one of the foremost rock and roll photographers in the world. He actually became known as the rock photographer, as he shot album covers for such legendary rock outfits as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and The Who.

As Bill Wyman of the Rolling Stones said, “Ethan has taken some of the greatest pictures in rock and roll… maybe the greatest ever.”

His massive collection of images can be viewed in his books, in galleries and purchased online through his website. You can also enjoy watching Best Seat in the House, the show where he relives his experience recording rock and roll history.

He will share hundreds of photographs and the stories behind them from backstage and behind the scenes.

Russell will also be available to sign autographs after the show. Merchandise will also be available for purchase, if you want a keepsake of the event.
