Late night Mississauga shooting sends woman and man to hospital

Two people have been rushed to hospital after being shot in Mississauga tonight (May 22).

Peel Regional Police say the victims were a man and a woman.

The shooting took place around 11 p.m. in the area of Bristol Rd. W. and Whitehorn Ave. in the East Credit community.

Suspects are at large and police have not indicated how many people they are looking for.

The area is now blocked off and police are telling people to avoid the area.
