Last chance to nominate local athletes into Milton Sports Hall of Fame

The Milton community has only a few weeks left to nominate local athletes, builders or teams for the Milton Sports Hall of Fame.
The Milton Sports Hall of Fame, located at 605 Santa Maria Blvd. is a not-for-profit organization as well as a partner with the Town of Milton that celebrates the accomplishments and contributions of the community.
Nominations are being accepted for the Class of 2022 until Apr. 30, 2022.
Nominated athletes must fit specific criteria including having been born in Milton or having lived in the Town for a minimum of five years, the demonstration of outstanding achievement in a sport or displaying above-average proficiency in a number of sports over multiple years.
Additionally, teams or athletes competing together must have participated as a local town of Milton team in a sport and achieved distinction at the local, provincial, national or international level.

The community is also encouraged to visit the Milton Sports Wall of Fame display at the Milton Sports Centre in the hallway between the customer service desk and the gym.
