Large Dollarama opens for Oakville and Mississauga shoppers

A large Dollarama store has recently opened in a plaza that serves both Mississauga and Oakville customers.
Located at 2501 Hyde Park Gate at Dundas St. W. near Highway 403.
The store is located in the same plaza as Buffalo Wild Wings, Pet Smart and Healthy Plant.
The footprint of the store is larger than most Dollaramas, occupying the space of a former department store in an area that is technically in Oakville but economically connected to Mississauga shoppers.
Dollarama opened 24 net new stores in the quarter, for a total of 1,421 stores at the end of January.
Meanwhile, the dollar store retail chain says it will continue to introduce higher-priced items this year.
The company says it plans to roll out additional price points up to $5 to maintain and enhance its product assortment and value.

The store is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
