LANES CLOSED: Woman in serious condition following crash in Mississauga

One woman has been rushed to hospital and police a busy road is down to one lane following a multi-vehicle crash in Mississauga.

The crash happened in the area of Hurontario Street and Bristol Road, Peel Regional Police said on Wednesday evening shortly after 7 p.m. Three vehicles were involved and one adult female victim was taken to a trauma centre in serious condition.

Police have closed southbound Hurontario Street down to one lane and are urging drivers to avoid the area while officers are on the scene.
