LANES CLOSED: Vehicle fire causing traffic delays in Burlington

UPDATE: Police say the crash scene has been cleared and all lanes have been reopened.

Lanes have been closed on a busy Ontario highway and traffic is being backed up following a vehicle fire in Burlington.

The OPP says the incident happened in the Toronto-bound lanes of Queen Elizabeth Way at Appleby Line in Burlington shortly before 5 p.m.

No injuries have been reported, but police have closed the HOV lane and the left-most lane of the QEW. Traffic is backed up and drivers should expect delays, and be prepared to slow down in the area.
