Lanes closed on Highway 401 in 2 incidents in Mississauga

It was a busy morning on Highway 401 in Mississauga as two separate incidents closed lanes.

A vehicle fire was reported in the eastbound express lanes of Highway 401 at Dixie Road around 8:30 a.m. today (June 2), 511 Ontario said in a tweet.

All lanes closed were closed. But a short time later, the right lane reopened. As of 8:50 a.m., the left lane was still closed.

There was also a collision reported in the westbound express HOV (high occupancy vehicle) lanes Mavis Road in Mississauga around the same time, according to 511 Ontario.

All lanes were closed but the crash was cleared a short time later.
