Lanes closed on busy Mississauga road for police investigation

Multiple lanes of Dixie Rd. in the east end of Mississauga are closed to traffic for a police investigation this afternoon (March 8).

Peel Regional Police say multiple northbound lanes of Dixie Rd., south of The Queensway, are closed to traffic, causing congestion on the busy route.

Police didn’t reveal the nature of the issue, describing the matter only as an “ongoing police investigation.”

Motorists in the area are advised to use alternate routes.
