Lanes closed for roadwork on a main road in Mississauga

The City of Mississauga asks drivers to plan ahead as lanes on a main street will be closed for roadwork.

Lakeshore Road East from Hiawatha Parkway/Mohawk Avenue to Cumberland Drive in Port Credit will be closed overnight starting tonight (Sept. 21), according to a City of Mississauga post on X (formerly Twitter).

Lanes will be closed for the overnight road work on Lakeshore Road starting at 8 p.m. and continuing until 6 a.m. tonight and Friday (Sept. 22) night.

Plan ahead. Lane closures will be in effect at Lakeshore Boulevard E. & Hiawatha Parkway/Mohawk Avenue and Lakeshore Boulevard E. & Cumberland Drive for overnight road work from 8 PM to 6 AM on Thursday and Friday night. pic.twitter.com/rQxOsORDYN
