Lanes blocked after tree falls onto roadway in Mississauga

This evening’s major windstorm is causing traffic delays in Mississauga tonight (Apr. 15).

Around 9:15 p.m., a tree fell onto the roadway in the area of Dixie and Burnhamthorpe Rd.

No injuries were reported.

Southbound lanes on Dixie Rd are blocked south of Burnhamthorpe, with crews attending to clean up the scene.

Motorists should avoid the area.
