Lane restrictions on downtown Hamilton arterial street until next week

Cyclists and drivers in downtown Hamilton can expect delays due to roadwork on an arterial street over the next seven days.

The City of Hamilton announced this morning (Nov. 2) that southbound Queen St. will have lane restrictions and a closed bike lane from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. between Hunter St. W. and Canada St. The restrictions are in palce in order to allow for transit services workers to repair a fence and install a new guide rail.

There will be lane restrictions in the southbound direction on Queen St between Canada St & Hunter St W between 9am – 3pm daily starting Nov 2, until Nov 8 for fence repair and guide rail installation. The SB bike lane will also be closed. Motorists can expect delays. pic.twitter.com/mtK7oGKmYx
