The Lakeview Artisan Market is set to take place soon in Mississauga.

The market, which is being run by CreativeHub 1352, a not-for-profit organization that organizes programs and events at the Small Arms Inspection Building (SAIB), was designed to complement the Lakeview Farmers’ Market.

It will be held indoors at the SAIB bi-weekly on Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. beginning June 19, 2023, and is set to feature more than thirty artisan vendors with beautifully hand-crafted, original works.

The market will run for a total of eight Sundays including June 19, July 3, 17 and 31, Aug. 28, Sept. 11 and 25 and Oct. 9.

“The surrounding area provides acres of green space, parks, biking and walking trails adjacent to Lake Ontario,” reads CreativeHub1352’s website.

“Take a stroll, pick up some local fresh fruits and vegetables, and experience the skills of makers and producers from all across the GTA region!”

The Lakeview Farmers’ Market will be making its comeback at the SAIB on May 28, 2023, and will run every Sunday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm until Oct. 29. Similar to previous years, the market will feature local, sustainable, organic and artisanal products, live music, a cafe and more.

This year, the market will also feature some new vendors, along with familiar favourites.
