A major artery through Mississauga has completely flooded due to a broken water main and their were two trapping motorists.

According to Peel Regional Police, they received a call about the break at Lakeshore Rd. and Lorne Park Rd. at 4:36 p.m. Two drivers were trapped by the onrushing waters with one climbing up to the roof of his vehicle.

Fire crews arrived on the scene by 5:30 p.m. and have since gotten the man down from the roof. Per Peel police, they are now working to get the other driver out of their car.
