A stunning lakefront home in Mississauga made the list of most expensive houses sold in Ontario last month.
House prices are back on the rise this spring making it more difficult to afford a home.
But some homes are so far out of reach, only the uber-wealthy could dream of buying them.
The four-bedroom home at 94 Cumberland Dr. in Mississauga was number four on the list of the most expensive houses sold in May as compiled by real estate brokerage and website Zoocasa.
The waterfront home boasts 11-foot ceilings, custom wood beams, white oak hardwood floors, and custom shelving and cabinets.
The 6,500 square foot home also has a great room, a “chef’s dream kitchen”, a server bar/pantry, a main floor den, a mud room, and a formal dining room.
The floor-to-ceiling windows provide views of Lake Ontario. There is also a Rumford stone fireplace.
The primary bedroom features 12-foot ceilings, a six-piece ensuite bathroom, and a walk-in closet.
The basement has a games room, a second family room, a nanny suite, a large home gym, and a cedar change room with a steam room.

This home, listed as the most expensive for sale in Mississauga last month, sold for $8,385,000 on May 13, under the asking price of $8,997,000.
