Knife-holding man at Mississauga intersection, warns Peel police

There were reports of a man possession a dangerous weapon at an intersection in Mississauga late on Monday afternoon (July 26), police said.
Peel Regional Police said they received a call at 4:59 p.m. of a man at the intersection of Dundas Street and Haines Road who was holding a knife. He is described as six feet tall with a medium build, South Asian characteristics, and dark hair. He was unshaven and wearing grey sweater.
Officers are checking the area and advise residents to call 911 if they see a person matching the suspect’s description.
