Though he’s been a performer since the early 1970s, Kenny Loggins absolutely owned all the classic hits from the biggest movie soundtracks throughout the 1980s.

From Footloose in the movie of the same name to Danger Zone from the movie Top Gun, as well as I’m Alright from the movie Caddyshack, all of the songs that defined the decade’s biggest movies were Loggins tunes.

That’s not even including 1979’s This Is It, a collaboration with Michael McDonald and an ode to his father dying of cancer to keep the fight going. (It worked – his father lived four more year.)

That, in fact, is the name of Loggins’ final tour – Kenny Loggins: This Is It! – a 19-stop, North America run with just one Canadian venue, the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino Resort on September 8.

Loggins’ talent for creating emotionally moving music is unrivalled, and it has been a part of his life for as long as he can remember.

During the “This Is It” tour, he’ll chronicle his incredible musical journey with a brand-new, career-spanning stage production that’s guaranteed to delight his devoted fan base.

Tickets are going fast as the venue has dubbed it a “high demand event.” Check HERE for tickets.

Meanwhile, at the 1984 international Live Aid Concert, Loggins got on stage for one song, his biggest hit ever, Footloose. Here’s that performance.
