The Real Canadian Superstore on Louth Street in St Catharines will be holding kid (5-11) vaccines clinics tomorrow and Friday from 4 pm to 9 pm. BUT parents have to book their appointments by calling the pharmacy.

Last week, the Real Canadian Superstore on Louth Street in St. Catharines held the area’s first educators-only vaccine clinic.

They’re back this week with two days of vaccination clinics for children aged five to 11. However, for the clinics being held from 4 pm to 9 pm both January 20 and 21, it is appointment-only.

That means if parents want to see their child vaccinated at the 411 Louth Street location in Ridley Mall, they have to call the pharmacy at 905-984-4159 and it would be wise to do so quickly.

In a release from Loblaw, the company said, “In an effort to prepare students to return to in-person learning, Loblaw pharmacies are doing what they can to make access to COVID-19 vaccinations easier for children.”

“For the past two years pharmacists have played an important role, supporting public health priorities in the fight against COVID. Right now, it’s more important than ever that children get vaccinated in order to protect themselves, their classmates, and their teachers,” said Ashesh Desai, Executive Vice President, Pharmacy and Healthcare, Loblaw Companies Limited.

“These clinics will make appointments more accessible and convenient for those who need them to help keep our schools safe.”
