Children interested in a future career in policing may want to enter the Hamilton Police Chief for a Day contest.
The Hamilton Police Service hosts the annual contest for children in Grades 6 to 8. This year the winner will be the “police chief” on Tuesday, May 16.
Those interested should make a 60-second video detailing what they would do to make their community a safer place to live.
Once the video is complete, upload it to Instagram and tag the Hamilton Police (@hamiltonpoliceontario) or email it to [email protected] by Friday, May 5.
In the past, winners have enjoyed a tour and learned more about policing in Hamilton.
