A Mississauga man is facing impaired driving charges after “keen-eyed” OPP officers pulled a vehicle over near Orangeville early this morning.
Dufferin OPP said in a news release that charges were laid Thursday morning as a “result of keen-eyed officers.”
According to police, the officers investigated a vehicle in the area of County Road 109 just west of Orangeville shortly after 5:30 a.m.
A 59-year-old Mississauga man has been charged with operation while impaired (alcohol and drugs) and operation while impaired (blood alcohol concentration of 80-plus).
He’ll appear in Orangeville court at a future date.
Police say the man had his licence suspended and the vehicle was impounded.
