‘Karak’ brings fusion Naans and Chai to Mississauga

This one is for all the chai enthusiasts in Mississauga as a new restaurant, ‘Karak,’ recently opened its doors at 10 Kingsbridge Garden Circle.

As the name goes, ‘Karak’-  simply refers to a strong brewed cup of tea and the owners promise an experience with a focus on stuffed naans and a unique chai menu.

Restaurant goers can indulge in traditional favorites such as Achari chicken, chicken tikka and butter chicken.

For those seeking a fusion twist, options like smoked brisket, BBQ chicken, and chicken Mexicano is also available, according on their virtual menu.

Vegetarian options, including the  Samosa Naan, ensures there’s something for everyone.

But the culinary adventure doesn’t end there.

Karak also offers a selection of naans loaded with desserts, perfect for those with a sweet tooth or anyone craving their ‘desi’ favorites stuffed in naans.

The establishment seem to take their chai very seriously, by creatively named offerings such as ‘Bollywood organic chai’ and the ‘Unicorn punch.’

These specialty chai blends are described as burst of flavors and aromas, including their Mango Chai- ‘A Tropical mango and coconut chai with star anise, spicy ginger and cardamom.’

For anyone who enjoys their chai ‘Karak’ and naans crispy- this new establishment seems to tick off those boxes.
