Just one COVID-19 case reported today in Niagara Region

Niagara Region is reporting just one new case of COVID-19 today (July 28), only the third time that’s happened this year.

With three resolved cases, that also drops the region below 50 active cases for the first time since last week. Presently, there are 49 cases in Niagara.

There are now four municipalities within the Niagara Region reporting zero cases. Port Colborne and Wainfleet have joined Fort Erie and Niagara-on-the-Lake with no cases in their boundaries.

St Catharines continues to lead in active cases at 18 with Niagara Falls following behind at 10.
