Just four new cases of COVID-19 in Niagara Region today but 39 new cases over the weekend

There were just four new COVID-19 cases in Niagara Region today (November 1) after a rough weekend that saw 39 new cases – 19 on Saturday and 20 on Sunday.

With seven resolved cases today, it drops the region to 163 ongoing cases.

St. Catharines still leads the way with 48 cases as Niagara Falls is next with 33. Fort Erie saw a large jump over the weekend and now reports 29 cases.

The remaining nine municipalities run between three cases in Grimsby up to eight in Thorold. Niagara-on-the-Lake (usually one of the lowest), Lincoln and Welland all have seven cases each.
