Just 10 ongoing COVID-19 cases between two Niagara Region school boards

Ongoing cases of COVID-19 in Niagara’s Region two school boards continue to drop as more and more students get vaccinated.

Only four ongoing cases were listed in the District School Board of Niagara (DSBN) while just six remain within the Niagara Catholic District School Board (NCDSB).

In the DSBN, Eden High School has one case, Harrier Tubman has two cases and John Brant has one. Both Tubman and Brant have one closed class each.

In the NCDSB, Blessed Trinity Catholic Secondary School has two cases, Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Elementary School in Grimsby has two cases, Saint Michael Catholic High School has one case and Saint Paul Catholic High School has one case. Our Lady of Fatima is the only school with closed classrooms, having shut down two.
