June is Pride Month in Peel

The Pride Flag will be raised at several locations around Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon next month as Peel celebrates Pride Month in the Region.
Peel Chairman Nando Iannicca said the Rainbow flag will be flown for the month of June to show “respect and acceptance for members of the LGBTQ+ community.
The Region will also host virtual Pride events throughout the month.
Discrimination has “no place in our Region,” Iannicca said. “This is how we build understanding and respect.”
