Environment Canada says the morning will be mainly cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of showers and a risk of thunderstorms in Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton, Oshawa and the Niagara Falls area.

Wind gusts could hit up to 50 km/h to 60 km/h in the afternoon in the GTA. The daytime high will be around 28 C in Mississauga, but will feel more like 33 C due to the humidity.
