June 4 weather: High that feels like 31 C in southern Ontario

Thursday is expected to bring mixed conditions and a high that feels like 31 C in the Greater Toronto Area and Southern Ontario.

Environment Canada says the morning will bring a mix of sun and clouds in Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton, Oshawa and the Niagara Falls area.

The daytime high will be 30 C in Mississauga, but could feel more like 31 C due to the humidity. A southwest wind will be blowing around 20 km/h in the afternoon, and the UV index will be 9 or “very high,” the weather agency says.

Thursday night is expected to be partly cloudy with 20 km/h winds becoming light into the evening. The low will be 18 C in Toronto and 17 C in Mississauga, the weather agency says.

Looking ahead to Friday, conditions will be cloudy with a 30 per cent chance of showers during that day and a high of 29 C. The evening could bring more showers and a low of around 17 C.
