June 27 Weather: Sunny skies and comfortable temperatures ahead for southern Ontario

A couple of sunny days are ahead, but the rain is expected to return Saturday for Mississauga and southern Ontario.

With mostly sunny skies and comfortable temperatures expected, Thursday (June 27) and Friday should be great days according to the latest weather forecast by Environment Canada.

Thursday will start with a mix of sun and clouds and winds north at 20 km/h and gusting to 40 km/h in the morning before becoming light in the early afternoon.

Those winds will pick up a little in the late afternoon becoming north at 30 km/h. The high will be a very comfortable 22 degrees Celsius with the UV index at 7 or high.

The evening skies will be clear with wind north at 30 km/h and becoming light in the late evening.

A chilly low of nine degrees Celsius is expected overnight.

Once again there will be 15 hours and 25 minutes of daylight with the sun to rise at 5:39 a.m. before setting in the evening at 9:04 p.m.
