June 26 Weather: Afternoon showers and thunderstorm expected across southern Ontario

It’ll be another mixed bag of weather Wednesday (June 26) in Mississauga and across southern Ontario.

There will be a good chance of showers and the risk of a thunderstorm according to the latest weather forecast by Environment Canada.

The day will kick of a mix and sun and cloud in the morning, but the clouds will move right into the afternoon and there will be a 60 percent chance of showers with the risk of a thunderstorm.

Wind will become west at 20 km/h late in the morning. There will be a high of 25 degrees Celsius during the day with the Humidex making it feel more like 30 degrees Celsius.

The UV Index will be 8 or very high.

The later hours will be partly cloudy with a 30 percent of showers early and the risk of a thunderstorm early on in the evening. Winds will be north at 20 km/h becoming light near midnight.

An overnight low of 13 degrees Celsius is expected.

Sunrise is set for 5:39 a.m. and then it will set at 9:04 p.m., giving us 15 hours and 25 minutes of daylight.
