June 23 weather: High that feels near 30 C in southern Ontario

Tuesday could bring gusty winds in the Greater Toronto Area and a high that could feel near 30 C in parts of southern Ontario.

Environment Canada says the morning will be sunny with fog patches possible in Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton, Oshawa and the Niagara Falls area.

A north wind blowing around 20 km/h could gust up to 40 km/h. The daytime high will be around 26 C in Mississauga, but could feel more like 28 C in the GTA and 29 C in Niagara Falls due to the humidity.

The UV index will be 8 or “very high,” the weather agency says.

The evening hours will bring clear skies and more wind gusts up to 40 km/h. The overnight low will be around 14 C.

Looking ahead to Wednesday, conditions are expected to be sunny with a high of 26 C in Mississauga during the day, and clouds with a low of 14 in the evening.
