June 21 Weather: More of the same hot, unsettled conditions on tap today for southern Ontario

Unsettled weather with a little bit of everything will take Mississauga and southern Ontario into the weekend on Friday (June 21).

It will be a day much like the one before where there’s sun, clouds, a good chance of rain, thunderstorms and hot temperatures according to the latest weather forecast by Environment Canada

Friday will begin with a mix of sun and cloud with a 40 percent chance of showers, while the afternoon will include a risk of a thunderstorm.

A high of 29 degrees Celsius is expected though it will feel much warmer with the Humidex at 40. The UV index will be in the double digits again at 10 or very high.

The evening will feature more of the same. It will be mainly cloudy with a 40 percent chance of showers and there will be a risk of a thunderstorm.

A low of 21 overnight is expected.

Sunrise will remain the same at 5:37 a.m. as will the sunset at 9:03 p.m.
