The heat and humidity will be turned up Tuesday (June 18) in Mississauga and across southern Ontario.

After a hot, sticky kick-off to the week, there will not only be no relief, but temperatures are expected to climb according to the latest weather forecast by Environment Canada.

There will be a mix of sun and clouds with a 30 percent chance of showers and the risk of a thunderstorm early in the morning and in the afternoon. Wind will become southeast at 20 km/h late in the afternoon.

A high of 33 degrees Celsius is on tap for the day, but it will feel more like 42 with the Humidex. Might want to make sure you have some sunscreen on if you are heading outside with the UV index at 10 or very high.

As the evening rolls in there will be partly cloudy skies with a 30 percent chances of showers and the risk of a thunderstorm.

The overnight low will be 23 degrees Celsius.

The morning sunrise is 5:37 a.m. and the sunset will be 9:03 p.m.
