July 7 weather: It could feel like 35 C in southern Ontario

Tuesday is expected to bring cloudy conditions with a high that could feel as warm as 35 C in the Greater Toronto Area and southern Ontario.

Environment Canada says the morning will bring mixed conditions, starting cloudy and clearing into the afternoon in Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton and Oshawa. Niagara Falls could see some showers with a 30 per cent chance in the morning, the weather agency says.

The daytime high will be around 28 C in Mississauga but could feel more like 32 C due to the humidity, and 35 C to 36 C in Hamilton and Niagara Falls.

Tuesday night is expected to be mostly clear in the GTA with another 30 per cent chance of showers in Niagara Falls. The overnight low will be around 16 C in Mississauga and 19 C in Toronto.

Looking ahead to Wednesday, conditions will be sunny in Mississauga with a high of 30 C and a low of 20 C in the evening. Thursday could bring a 30 per cent chance of showers and a high of around 29 C to the GTA.
