Friday is expected to bring clear skies with temperatures around seasonal normals in the Greater Toronto Area and southern Ontario.
Environment Canada says the morning will be sunny in Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton, Oshawa and the Niagara Falls area.
The daytime high will be around 27 C in Mississauga but will feel more like 30 C due to the humidity. The UV index will be 8 or “very high,” the weather agency says.
Friday night will start clear, before becoming partly cloudy around midnight. The low will be around 16 C in Mississauga and 18 C in Toronto.
The seasonal normal for this time of year is between 15 C and 17 C, before accounting for the humidity.
Looking ahead to the weekend, Saturday is expected to bring a mix of sun and cloud with a 30 per cent chance of showers and a high of 26 C, while the evening will be partly cloudy with a low of 17 C.
Sunday could also bring showers with a 40 per cent chance during the day, a high of 25 C and a low of 16 C.
More wet weather is possible at the start of next week, with a 60 per cent chance of showers and a high of 22 C on Monday, and a 30 per cent chance of showers with a high of 25 C on Tuesday.
