July 11 Weather: Cloudy early, but clearing later in the night for southern Ontario

A day of overcast skies will give way to late night clearing Thursday (July 11) across Mississauga and southern Ontario.

More rain could come early in the morning, but things will get much clearer as we move through the day according to the latest weather forecast by Environment Canada.

The morning will be cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of showers. Winds will be north at 20 km/h. and gusting to 40 km/h. before becoming light late in the afternoon.

Temperatures will be a little cooler than the last while, with a high of 24 C expected. The humidex will be at 29 C with the UV index at six or high.

The skies will begin to clear later in the evening. An overnight low of 16 degrees Celsius is forecasted.

The sun will rise at 5:48 a.m. in the morning and then set in the evening at 9 p.m., giving us 15 hours and 12 minutes of daylight time.
